"What if humans could fly like birds?"

If Humans Could Fly Like Birds

Ahmed was an ordinary man who went to the office every day and returned home tired in the evening. His life passed in a monotonous routine. The morning bustle of buses and crowded streets always made him feel heavy-hearted. He often thought, “I wish I could do something different, something truly free.”

One morning, while walking on the street, Ahmed suddenly felt a light breeze beneath his feet. At first, he was scared, but soon he realized that he was lifting off the ground. For a moment, he could hardly believe it. He spread his arms and began soaring into the sky. The rush of air, the warmth of the sun, and the sense of freedom from the city’s noise filled his heart with joy.

From above, the city looked tiny. The traffic, the crowd, everything seemed like mere specks of dust. Ahmed felt that flying was not just about covering distance but also about mental freedom. As he soared over mountains, rivers, forests, and villages, the soft wind, the rustling of trees, and the playful birds filled him with peace

While flying, Ahmed wondered how the world would change if everyone could fly. Wars would be harder to wage because it would be impossible to get close enough to harm an enemy. People would no longer be confined to the ground, and connections and love would grow stronger.

Suddenly, he noticed a small child watching the birds in awe. Ahmed realized that human desires, too, could soar like birds if freedom were given. But a sense of caution also crept into his heart. With flying comes responsibility. Accidents, misuse, and harm were possible.

Ahmed looked beyond the city to the mountains and rivers. People were astonished to see humans flying. Someone asked, “How are you flying? Is this magic?” Ahmed replied, “It’s not magic; it’s only the feeling of freedom and desire.” He understood that if humans gained this ability, not only physical but also mental boundaries could vanish.

Ahmed spent several days flying above the city. He noticed that people on rooftops would watch flying humans with joy, children tried to play with the birds, and elders looked on in wonder. Yet some feared this power falling into the wrong hands. Ahmed realized that alongside power, ethical awareness was crucial.

One day, Ahmed decided to return to the ground, but the feeling of flying stayed in his heart. He understood that true freedom is not physical but in thoughts and imagination. Even amidst the office crowds and daily life, he could feel happiness because the sensation of flight lived within him.

Ahmed’s ability became an inspiration. He taught people that if humans recognized their limits and let their desires soar, the world could become a better place. Flying was no longer seen as just physical movement but as the freedom of the heart. He learned that to soar, humans do not need wings like birds—courage, imagination, and determination are enough.

Finally, Ahmed sat with a child and said, “We are all birds; sometimes we remember to fly, sometimes we don’t. But if we remember, no one is truly confined to the ground.” The child smiled and said, “One day, I will fly too!” Ahmed realized that he had ignited the desire to fly, not only in his own life but in the hearts of others as well.
